Native American Indian Mounds

  • Native American Indian Mounds
Evidences of the primitive inhabitants of the county - the mound builders - are found in the area. According to newspaper reports from the early 1900's, a mound was dug into and examined by persons living in the neighborhood. In the mounds were found human bones in a decomposed state, fragments of pottery and flint arrowheads.

Native Americans mounds are present at an undisclosed location within the Blue River Quaker Settlement.
